Hydraulic Track Press is a machine specially designed for removing and installing excavator tracks. It usually consists of a main frame, a track clamping mechanism, a locking device, and a hydraulic system.

Hydraulic Track Press

Hydraulic Track Press

In use, the operator drives the excavator into the working area of the Hydraulic Track Press and parks it in a safe area. The operator then starts the machine, secures the track using the track clamping mechanism, and applies force using the hydraulic system to remove the pins on the track. When a new track needs to be installed, the operator can also use the machine to install the new track back on the excavator.

The advantage of Hydraulic Track Press is that it can automate the disassembly and assembly process of the track, which improves work efficiency and safety, and reduces labor costs. In addition, it effectively reduces the risk of damage to the tracks due to misalignment. Therefore, it is widely used in construction, mining, agriculture and other fields.

How hydraulic track press works?

The hydraulic track press uses the principle of converting hydraulic energy into mechanical energy to disassemble the track pins of crawler excavators. Use the flashlight integrated pump as the power source to make the hydraulic jack move forward, so as to remove the pin shaft smoothly. Replace the outdated methods of gas cutting and hammering to ensure that the tracks are intact and not damaged. It is an ideal special tool for crawler excavator maintenance and assembly.

Hydraulic track press installation and test run

Install:

The main engine of the machine and the hydraulic control (pump station) are integrated, and the manual and packing list are included with the factory. Pay attention to safety when lifting the machine. The press should be installed in a dry and dust-free

On the dyed concrete foundation, the workbench is installed horizontally, and the whole machine is stable and vibration-free. Then connect the oil cylinder and the oil pipe of the hydraulic control part, and adjust the working level of the main engine to work. Due to transportation vibration, check whether each part is loose, and re-tighten with relevant tools. Fill the oil tank with filtered N46 anti-wear hydraulic oil or N46 low-condensation hydraulic oil. Check whether the electrical equipment is in good condition.

Test run:

Before starting the machine, you must understand the structural principle and performance of the machine. Before starting the machine, you should jog the motor 2 to 3 times to make sure that there is no abnormality before it can run normally. Pay attention to whether the direction of rotation of the motor is correct. If it is reversed, please exchange the two-phase power lines.

For the first test run and after each change of hydraulic oil, the pressure of the relief valve should be adjusted to the minimum value. After the oil pump runs normally, slightly increase the pressure (the piston rod can be moved up and down) to make the piston move up and down for several times to exhaust the air in the system, and then the pressure test can be done.

Precautions for use of hydraulic track press

  1. The press must be properly grounded, and it is better to be grounded separately;

  2. The machine is not allowed to correct the mold during operation;

  3. The hydraulic oil is No. N46 anti-wear hydraulic oil or No. N46 low-condensation hydraulic oil. It is used after being filtered by 80-100 mesh screen. It is advisable to change the oil for the first time within two months. oil once;

  4. After the machine has been working for 200 hours, check the cleanliness of the oil. It is required to have no peculiar smell. Drop a drop of oil on the white filter paper, and there will be no ink stains within the center of the oil stain, otherwise the oil should be changed;

  5. The press shall not be overloaded;

  6. In case of accidental leakage in the system, sufficient hydraulic oil should be replenished after the fault is eliminated;

  7. Frequently check the cleanliness of the pump station and fuel tank, and strictly prohibit water, dust and foreign objects from entering the fuel tank;

  8. If the function is changed, the air in the system should be exhausted before it can work;

  9. If there is any abnormality during the test run and work, stop the machine immediately for inspection;

  10. Keeping the pressure for 10 minutes is allowed to reduce the pressure by 2.5Mpa.

  11. When the hydraulic system is under high pressure, it is strictly forbidden to knock on the parts to avoid the danger of bursting or parts popping out.

  12. At the same time of manual disassembly and pressurization, pay close attention to the change of the pressure gauge number, especially when the piston stroke is about to reach the position: if it is already in place, the pressure will rise rapidly when the pressure is re-pressurized, and the cylinder may be pushed off. build.

  13. When removing the pins, be sure to close the back door of the tool box, otherwise the removed pins may shoot out and hurt people.

  14. During the pressurization process, if the pin ejection direction is found to be shifted, the pressurization should be stopped immediately, and the distance between the bolts on the fixing rod of the disassembly seat should be adjusted. Continue to pressurize after being balanced to prevent pin bullets from flying and hurting people.
